The sound design of a game is an important element of the game design process. If a game were to have no sound effects or music, users would not be able to immerse themselves into the world of games as intended. If you (try replacing you with another word) were to play your favorite game and mute the television or speakers, it would immediately be evident how much of an important role the sound plays. There would be no jumps, no scares, no edge of your seat thrills and the game would be very dull. Because of this, the sound development of a game needs to be correctly completed.
